How does the High-Speed RGB Color Mark Sensor work?
This sensor operates on the principle of coaxial diffuse reflection. It emits a modulated, high-intensity light beam combining Red, Green, and Blue (RGB) wavelengths onto the target surface. The advanced optical receiver then captures and analyzes the reflected light ratio. The sensor automatically calculates the contrast difference between the background material and the registration mark, selecting the most optimal single-color light source (R, G, or B) to achieve a flawless contrast lock. In Color Mark mode, this smart spectrum selection allows the sensor to process signals at an ultra-fast response time of just 50μs, ensuring real-time detection even on high-speed moving webs.
What are the main benefits of using an RGB Tri-Color Sensor over traditional single-light sensors?
Traditional sensors with only a single light source (like green or red only) often struggle or fail when the color of the packaging film changes or when the contrast between the background and the mark is too low (e.g., a green mark on a blue film). Our sensor eliminates this limitation by utilizing a 4-element RGB tri-color LED light source.
It offers two major advantages in production lines:Universal Color Detection: It can stably identify any color combination, reducing downtime caused by changing packaging rolls or switching job orders.
Dual-Mode Versatility: You can switch between Contrast Mode 50μs ultra-high-speed registration mark tracking on bag-making machinery) and Color Mode (for high-precision color sorting based on precise RGB reflectance ratios). This versatility vastly improves positioning accuracy and label edge-guiding efficiency.

How does this sensor perform in harsh factory environments and long-term operations?
Built strictly to industrial-grade standards, this sensor is engineered for high stability and maximum durability.
Digital Monitoring: It features a clear 4-digit display that continuously shows the real-time threshold (green) and current light value (red) from 0 to 9999, allowing operators to monitor signal health at a glance.Robust Circuit Protection: Equipped with comprehensive built-in protections, including reverse polarity protection and an automatic short-circuit protection system that triggers instantly if the current hits 50mA.Premium Build: Paired with a highly flexible, oil-resistant, and wear-resistant lead-out cable, this sensor withstands continuous vibration (10-55Hz across XYZ axes) and ambient light interference up to 30,000 lux (Daylight). It delivers an exceptionally long operational lifespan with low maintenance overhead for international machinery projects.
